For too long, I’ve poured my energy into being a giver, always prioritizing the needs of others over my own. While there’s beauty in selflessness, I’ve come to realize that it’s unsustainable when I’m left feeling empty. The constant effort to support and uplift those around me has often gone unreciprocated. I want to shift my focus from being the one who always gives to embracing the vulnerability of being loved and nurtured. It’s time for me to seek the kind of relationships that aren’t just about what I can offer but about mutual respect and care.

I crave a connection where actions speak louder than words, where I am cherished, prioritized, and supported in a way that nourishes my spirit. Love shouldn’t feel one-sided; it should be a dance of give and take, a space where both partners can thrive. I want to be surrounded by people who understand the importance of reciprocity and are willing to demonstrate their affection through meaningful gestures. It’s time for me to embrace my worth and seek out those who will uplift me, reminding me that I, too, deserve to be taken care of.
