I wanted to end my life at 18.
I faced immense societal criticism when I made the difficult decision to leave engineering at the age of 18.
The weight of this judgment plunged me into a deep depression, confining me within my home for three agonizing months. Lost and overwhelmed, I spent my days overthinking and crying, unsure of my purpose and direction in life.
My self-confidence was shattered, and at one point, I even contemplated ending my own life.
My parents and family, witnessing the distress I was in, took swift action. They sought professional help, bringing me to a psychiatrist and psychologist. Through therapy and counseling, I gradually started working on myself, finding the strength to overcome the darkness that had consumed me.
The crucial factor in my recovery was the unwavering love and support of my family and friends – they literally brought me back to life.
Recognizing that not everyone has access to such vital support, I decided to create a safe space where judgment is replaced with understanding.
