Today is a special day and I felt like sharing this with my LinkedIn fam.

My little brother along with his friends started this beverage business venture Coffee Wala which is a quirky chain of small coffee carts with different coffee flavours.

As a sister it was such a beautiful feeling to see them pushing through but what is so special about this.

After completing office work, I went and stood in front of the cart and literally sold the coffee bottles, there were people I was asking them to try the flavours, there were so many people who ignored us, there were people who said Noo to us on face.

But this time while listening a Noo or rejection didn’t feel like a failure, it felt just so normal.

People came, people smiled and most important they supported us as we started this for the first time.

And the best part was I pushed myself to speak in front of strangers after so long as it felt so natural to me, some embarrassing moments and alot of smiles.

So what I learned from this experience is to put yourself out into this world and you never know who becomes your biggest supporter and you never know which opportunity knocks your door.

All you have to do is to take the first step and believe in yourself, there is alot of coming your way.

Start small, put yourself out and be shameless when it comes to doing your own deeds.

Kindness attracts kindness and your little effort makes a difference.
