This life has so many twists and turns no one could have prepared me for.
This life has so many twists and turns no one could have prepared me for. It’s a beautiful ride, but it’s also an exhausting one. And if there’s one thing I learned to be true, it’s that sometimes, it’s just better not knowing.
It’s better not knowing what the people we lost along the way are now up to, or where all those little dreams we had to let go went. It’s better not knowing how amazing things would’ve been had we held onto them a little tighter—because that’s just what they are now: what-ifs and daydreams.

Juggling up
Life in itself is exhausting without the drama, and I have decided to just focus on the people I love and what simple things the stars may have written for me. I’ll happily take the twists and turns and their lessons to move forward, but I’m done turning around and just going back to where I got stuck on.
Sometimes, I still think of those dreams I once pursued. They still make me smile. Every now and then, I still remember the happy memories I have with the people I once had close connections with, and I honestly hope they’re doing well in life. But I’ve long stopped checking any further.
Sometimes, it really is better not knowing. I just hope things work out in the end.
